VCM is a chlorinated organic compound, which is also called Vinyl chloride Monomer, VCM colorless substance is one of the most important industrial chemicals used in the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). At medium temperature and pressure, is a colorless gas or liquid, and it is normally liquified under pressure before storage or transportation. VCM is a highly toxic, highly flammable and carcinogenic substance. PVC is obtained from the polymerization of the vinyl chloride monomer radical.
