Polycarbonates (PC) are a group of thermoplastic polymers containing carbonate groups in their chemical structures. There are many polycarbonates which vary in properties depending on their molecular mass and structure. They are flammable and heat resistant, tough and transparent, because of these remarkable properties, Polycarbonates are widely used. Among the uses of the polycarbonates and their blends are: Medical, electro-electronic, fuse-boxes, computer and television housings, construction, optical storage, cars and packaging.
