Epoxies or epoxy resins, derived from OXIRANES are class of prepolymers and polymers that, when reacted with hardeners or curing agents such as polyamines, aminoamides or phenolic compounds, form a strong, durable substance. Epoxies are used in a variety of consumer and industrial applications, due to their durability, strong adhesion, chemical resistance and other specialized properties.
